The activities of Admiral Yi sun-sin s subordinates after the Imjin-Waeran(1592~1598)

This researh is conducted to find out activities of Admiral Yi s officers who played important part during the Imjin-Waeran(1592~1598), and how government of Joseon dynasty estimated those figures. For the research, we divided Admiral Yi s subordnate into three group. The fisrt, activities of those who worked with Admiral Yi when he was commander in chief of navy of Jeolla left province. The second, Activities of Yi sun-sin s staffs and their descendants. And the third, Activities of officers who carried out the war under Admiral Yi s command during Jungyou-Jaeran(1597~1598, Janpanese second invasion). we can find out that some of Admiral Yi s subordinates did not work in the government, and lived a life in seclusion, But many of Yi s subordinate were appointed in high position in the millitary, and played the important role. Yi s men carried out their duty as an army commander, as well as navy commander faithfully, and goverment of Joseon dynasty also set a high value on their millitary merits. Especially, Lee sun-sin(李純信) and Kwon jun(權俊) was appointed as a meritorious retainer and You hyung(柳珩), Woo chi-juck(禹致績) and Lee woon-ryong(李雲龍) played important part in the millitary, as navy commander of three province and other key positions
