Clonal variation in flowering among 180 clones of Pinus Koraiensis from a clone bank established in 1983 was investigated for successive years (1991~1995) at Gomae Experiment Forest of Forest Genetics Research Institute. The data showed a great variation in both female and male flowering among the clones. Based on the flowering frequency, the expected gamete contribution of the different clones to the offspring was calculated. According to the calculation, thirty six clones among 180 clones contributed to 49% of total female flowering in 1994, and 65% in 1991. As for male flowering, 14 clones contributed to more than 80% of the total flowering in 1991. The same trend was also observed in 1994 when 27 clones influnenced more than 80% of the total male flowering. Positive rank as well as simple correlations were significant in female flowering between all the years, except in both 1994 and 1995 in rank and simple correlations, and in 1991 and 1994 in simple correlation. Male flower production also appeared to have positive correlations between all the years. Correlations between yearly male and female flowerings appeared to be low (r= -0.150~0.129). The broad sense heritabilities for both female and male flower production were 0.37~0.56 and 0.68~0.81, respectively.
