경찰 복합 나선형 외상(Police Complex Spiral Trauma)에 관한 연구 - 직무상 외상경험을 중심으로 -

A Study on Police Complex Spiral Trauma(PCST) - Focusing on the types of occupational trauma cases -

이 연구는 경찰 복합 나선형 외상(PCST: Police Complex Spiral Trauma)의 유형 중 그동안 논의 되지 않았던 경찰공무원의 복합 외상 후 스트레스(CPTSD: Complex post-traumatic stress disorder)에 관한 연구로서 직무상 경험할 수 있는 외상사건 유형인 총기 및 흉기, 사망 및 변사체 목격 사건과 CPTSD의 관계를 회복탄력성의 매개변수로 확인하였다. 구조방정식 모델 분석을 통한 결과는 첫째, 사망사고 및 변사체 목격은 PCST(정서충동 변화)에 정(+)적인 영향관계가 제시되었다(β=.152 p<.017). 둘째, 사망사고 및 변사체 목격은 PCST(신체화 증상 및 의미체계의 변화)에 정(+)적인 영향관계가 제시되었다(β=.035 p<.045). 셋째, 회복탄력성은 PCST의 하위요인인 정서 및 충동조절 기능이 변화(β=-.528 p<.002), 주의력 의식 및 자기인식의 변화(β=-.215 p<.026), 대인관계의 변화(β=-.215 p<.000), 신체화 증상 및 의미체계의 변화(β=-.180 p<.000)에 부(-)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, PCST중 CPTSD의 영향요인으로 사망사고 및 변사체 목격이 확인되었고, 회복탄력성과의 영향관계가 확인되었다는 점에서 PCST분야의 중요한 요인을 도출하였다.

This study is a study on the complex post traumatic stress(CPTSD) among police officers which has not been discussed in the types of Police Complex Spiral Trauma(PCST), and this study discussed the types of occupational traumatic events such as using firearms or weapons, deaths and witnessing of human corpses. Also, the relationship between the factors was analyzed by structural equation model analysis and the resilience was confirmed as a parameter. The results of the structural equation model analysis showed that firstly, the accidental deaths and the witnessing of human corpses were positively(+) related to the change of emotional impulsiveness of Police Complex Spiral Trauma(β=.152 p<.017). Secondly, there was a positive(+) relationship between the mortality and witnessing of human corpses in the somatization symptom and the change of the semantic system of the Police Complex Spiral Trauma(β=.035 p<.045). Thirdly, the resilience has a negative(-) effect on subfactors of Police Complex Spiral Trauma such as emotional and impulse control functions(β=.528 p<.002), changes in attitude and self&#8208;awareness(β=.215 p<.026), changes in interpersonal relationships(β=.215 p<.000), and changes in somatization symptoms and semantics(β=.180 p<.000). In other words, important factors in the field of Police Complex Spiral Trauma were derived from the fact that the effects of CPTSD in PCST were confirmed by mortality and witnessing of human corpses and the influence of resilience.
