성별에 따른 청소년들의 생활패턴과 비행과의 관계 - 사회유대이론과 일상생활이론을 중심으로 -

The relationship between the life pattern of the adolescents and the delinquency by gender - based on social bonding theory and routine activity theory -

이 연구는 사회유대이론에서 설명하는 참여와 일상생활이론에서 설명하는 생활패턴이 청소년비행에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 설명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 이 연구는 한국청소년정책연구원에서 수집한 한국 아동·청소년패널(KCYPS) 자료의 중1 패널 데이터 2차년도의 자료를 사용하여 청소년들의 생활패턴에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 경로분석(path analysis)을 활용한 연구결과 성별에 따라 생활패턴은 확연하게 차이가 나는 것을 볼 수 있으며 생활패턴이 가시성과 구조성이 떨어질수록 청소년 비행에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 남자청소년보다 여자청소년이 가시성과 구조성이 떨어지는 공간에서 시간을 많이 보낼수록 청소년비행에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 성별에 따른 생활패턴을 좀 더 이해하고 가시성(visibility)과 구조성 (instrumentality)이 떨어지는 활동 즉 사회통제(social control)를 강화하고 그에 따른 여러 가지 정책적 대안들이 마련된다면 우리 사회에서 청소년비행을 좀 더 획기적으로 줄일 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to explain how the life patterns explained in the social bonding theory and routine activity theory explained in lifestyle pattern affect the juvenile delinquency. In this study, path analysis was used to investigate the effects of the life patterns of adolescents using data from the second wave panel data of KCYPS collected from the Korea Youth Policy Institute. As a result of using path analysis, it was found that the life pattern was significantly different according to gender, and the more the visibility and the structure of the life pattern were, the more the effect was on the juvenile delinquency. The more time spent in the place where the visibility and the instrumentality are lower, the more the juvenile delinquency affects the juvenile delinquency. Therefore, if we understand the life patterns according to gender,strengthen visibility and instrumentality, strengthen social control, and provide various policy alternatives accordingly, It will be possible to reduce it further.
