현대사회에서 여성에 대한 폭력범죄는 그 유형이 다양해지고 흉폭해지는 양상을 보이고 있다. 경찰은 여성폭력범죄에 대응하기 위해 다양한 대응체재를 마련하고 범죄피해자 보호를 위한 노력을 기울이고 있으나 여성을 대상으로 하는 범죄는 계속 증가 하는 추세이다. 데이트폭력범죄는 가장 광범위하고 일반적으로 발생하는 여성대상 범죄이며 이 연구는 데이트폭력범죄의 실태를 파악하고 폭력행위의 특징을 파악하여 경찰대응에 있어 효과적인 대응체제를 제안하고 나아가 데이트폭력피해자 보호를 위한 제언을 목적으로 한다.
Violent crimes against women in the modern society are becoming more diverse and fierce.
