긍정탐색을 활용한 학습동아리 이중고리학습 사례

A Case Study of Double-loop Learning for Learning community Utilizing Appreciative inquiry

이중고리학습은 조직이 성장하는데 중요한 조직학습방법으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구는 학습동아리의 이중고리학습을 위한 긍정탐색 모델의 적용 가능성을 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 학습동아리 컨설팅에 참여한 동아리 구성원을 대상으로 긍 정탐색 워크숍을 실시하고 워크숍 과정 중의 동아리 구성원들의 상호작용 자료와 워크숍을 통해 도출해낸 결과물을 수집하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 사례연구 대상 학습동아리는 긍정탐색을 통하여 직면한 문제만 바라보는 시각에서 벗어나 동아리의 기본 가치, 나아가야 할 방향을 탐색하고 공감대를 형성하였으며, 구체적인 실천 계획까지 수립하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 긍정탐색 모델이 담론을 중심으로 한다는 점에서 학습동아리의 이중고리학습에 효과적이고, 절차가 명확하다는 점에서 표준화된 학습동아리 컨설팅 방법으로서 가능성을 시사한다. 향후 학습동아리에 최적화된 긍정탐색 모델을 활용한 컨설팅 모형이 개발된다면 학습동아리 활동에서 이중고리학습이 활성화될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Double-loop learning is known to be an important organizational learning method for organizations to grow. In this study, we investigated the possibility of applying the affirmative search model for the learning of the double rings in the learning circle. We sought to explore the possibility of applying the appreciative inquiry model for the double-loop learning in the learning circle. For this we conducted an appreciative inquiry workshop for learning community participating in this learning community consultation and analyzed the workshop results and the interaction between the community members. As a result, our study subject, the learning community was able to free themselves from the mere problems before them and explored the basic value of the club, its new directions and form certain consensus. This result suggests that the appreciative inquiry is effective for double-loop learning in the learning community in respect that it is centered on discourse, and it is possible to use it as a standardized learning community consulting method because of its clear procedure. We expect activation of the double–loop learning for development of the learning community by developing optimized appreciative inquiry consulting model.
