Distinction of Endings Based on Their Inherent Features

The purpose of this paper is twofold. First, I point out the problems of the endings classification system based on the classification of complex sentences. Second, as an alternative to this, we propose a classification of endings based on their inherent features. In Chapter 2, we pointed out that it is necessary to distinguish the whole construction and the individual constituent parts. In Chapter 3, we argued that it is necessary to escape from the concept of conjunction and embedding. Chapter 4 presents a new classification system of endings. The classification criteria are [±direct link to following end], [±following end request], and [±direct link to following declension Ending].
