This paper discusses potential value and clear understanding of Rhythmic Solfege Eurhythmics Pedagogy. While the history of Eurhythmics exists in Korea, most of the related study is limited to children s music education. By supplementing unbalanced music education with Eurhythmics pedagogy, potential to raise qualified Korean artist will be increased. In foreign case-studies, Eurhythmics is used not only for development of body coordination but also is utilized for patients physical and mental coordination and health treatment. Musicians and conductors in need of physical expression and movement, theatrical performers with limitation on timing and movement, and dancers who utilize music are all in need of Eurhythmics. General individuals also benefit from it. For example at Juilliard music school, the Dalcroze Eurhythmics offers artistic talents for musicians, pop-artists, and dancers. Eurhythmics is not a simple rhythm education. It incorporates horizontal concept of Rhythmics and vertical concept of Rhythmic Solfege. With the use of these elements, one creates one s own Rhythmic Solfege Improvisation incorporating musical principles and effects. Especially study on Solfege education and Rhythmics Solfege is rare and requires further in-depth study. Solfege is called Rhythmic Solfege because it offers unique teaching methods of rhythm in relationship to time including elements like syllable name, interval, chord, passage, scale, mode, form, modulation and counterpoint. Teaching method is one of the most important element for good teachers. The learning environment should be dynamic and interactive in relationship to students, teachers, and the class environment This paper offers understanding of pedagogy and principles of Rhythmic Solfege and rhythmic movements to music teachers hoping to develop mature technique for teachers and trust between teachers and students.
