Self and objective things in Wang Jeong-kyun’s poetry

This thesis is an inquirγ about correlationship between time and space, that is, picturesqueness and the inner self in Wang Jeong kyun’s poetrγ in Balhaekukzijα19pyun. Its correlatioship be divided, largely, into three things. Firstly, it’s the case that, at shri<age of the inner self, it contacts with objective things. At this time, the inner self communicates with objective things. This communication is done after contact with objective things as an observer. Under this circumstances, time and space become a loop between the inner self and objective things. Secondly, it s the case that, at the inner self’s conflict, it contacts with objective things. Under this circumstances, the inner self identifies itself with objective things. Thirdly, it’s the case that, at the inner self s transcendence from something else, it contacts with objective things. The inner self either identifies itself with objective things or contacts with it as an observer. There is no relation with point of view. Though the time is Autumn, or twilight, irrelativ&eacute; to such time and season, space is wide too much. There is two reasons for the background of such time and space in Wang Jeong-kyun. The first reason is a poetic style of that time. Of course, it’s an usual to temper a poem with picturesqueness in Chinese poetIγ. The second, his own attainments. He is very good at penmanship, painting, poetry. jUdging from the fact that Jangjong makes hirn grade and publish a scrapbook of calligraphic art and famous paintings of Naebu, it can be said, his lents and attainment are excellent. For his excellent attainments in three fields, it is natural to show picturesqueness in his poems.
