This thesis discusses a base construction of regional traditional culture and the application plan, focused on the Korean traditional novels in printing culture of ’ Jeollab(do’. In 1004, ’Myungsimbogamcho was published for sale in ’jeongeup after ’Dα19mongsunseup ’ was published for sale in Jeonju in 1654. Until 1930 s, a numb‘~ of kinds of book were published. started with ’Byulwolbonggi’ in 1823, many korean traditional novels were published until 1930 such as ’ yeolyeochunhyangs eolga’， ’honggildongjeon , ’simcheongjeon’ and so on, which were literary gems. The korean traditional novels which were published in ’Jeonju’ are called ’Wanpanbon’, the corpus of this korean traditonal novels was mially established in the ’21st century Sejong project and the image corpus was partially established by the project of Korean MÌrnstrγ of Culture & Tourism. a traditional korean narrative song ’Pansori’ lS a Phonetic corpus and the modem translation of P’ansori lyrics and English translation corpus were partially established. as the history of korean traditional novels was printed in colophon and copyright page, the ∞okstores and the publication quences have revlled. Also the authors, Chae Man-k’ and Choi Myung-hee’ could write great novels because this korean traditional novels affected their literary works and made their background. Therefore we should find the way of integrated application considng the information related with kor， traditional novels, for example corpus, publication archives, the history of bookstores and the effects to next generation, etc. In this thesis, I studied the further application plan emphasizing the ialect of Jeolla province in traditional novels, vocabulæγ research, the relation with kornpaper ’Hanji and a cultur， economic research of this region which were published urnquely among provinces.
