Cho, Beok-an ìs a poet who went to North Korea. His poetry is not, like any other poets who went to North Korea, well known to us. The early poer of Cho s superficia1ly shows confusion and wandering. If we, however, look at it more closely, we Can find that his poetry does not remaín in the worId of confusion wandering, but contradict the rea1iη of his day. After independence from am， With sociaJ consciousness, Cho gins to write his best poems which revea1 criti，lism. After he went to North Korea, his poe displays the aspiration for the reunification‘
