과정공동체를 향한 모험

Adventure towards Process Community : Creative Advance in Philosophy and Organization Theory

이 연구는 한국 사회가 지향해 가는 사회적 기업과 협동조합에 대한 철학과 조직이론에 대한 존재론적 탐색을 시도하는 작업이다. 우리는 이 탐색을 위한 공동체의 모델을 과정 공동체(process-community)라고 하며, 이 과정 공동체의 의미를 규정하고, 그 차원을 제시해볼 것이다. 우리는 자유주의와 공동체주의로 나누어진 일반적인 형태를 실체적 자유주의와 실체적 공동체주의로 보면서 이를 극복할 수 있는 대안적 형태로 과정 공동체를 제시해볼 것이다. 과정 공동체의 차원들은 창조성, 미이다. 이것이 차후에 지역을 기반으로 하는 사회적 기업과 협동조합이 모색해야 할 방향성이라고 본다.

The article tried to discuss the notions of process philosophy and process community as being a new unifying dimensions for theoretical models of cooperative and social entrepreneur that emphasize creativity over uniformity, beauty over truth, anonymity over representation, life over machine. We present a definition of process-community notions, and outline some directions and future opportunities for enhancing the accumulation of more specialized knowledge. The contribution of process philosophy to organization theory aims at providing alternative perspectives on the concept of organization. Therefore we concludes that the dimensions of process community have an important relationship with the philosophical development of cooperative association and social entrepreneur research.
