갑골 복사(卜辭)ㆍ주역 점사(占辭)를 통해 본 단군신화의 천신(天神)사상

Dangun Myth’s Thoughts of the Heavenly gods from the perspective of Oracle bond script and the Book of Change

단군신화에 있어서 천신 사상은 단군신화의 핵심적인 사상 중의 하나인데, 이러한 단군신화의 천신 사상과 갑골 복사 및 『주역』?점사에서 나타나는 천신사상을 비교하여 살펴보는 것도 단군신화를 이해하기 위해 필요한 연구이다. 갑골문이 발견된 중국 하남성 안양은 단군조선의 중심지로 추정되는 요동 지역과 지리적으로 멀지 않은 위치에 있다. 시기적으로도 서로 중첩되고 있으며, 지리적으로도 서로 가까운 위치에 있는 안양 지역의 문화와 단군조선의 문화를 비교 연구하는 것은 매우 자연스러운 시각이라 할 수 있다. 흥미로운 점은 시대와 지리적인 근접성에 걸맞게 갑골문의 천신 사상과 단군신화의 천신 사상은 서로 유사한 점이 존재한다는 것이다. 단군신화에 등장하는 천신(天神)은 1) 상제인 환인, 2) 환인의 서자인 환웅, 3) 풍백, 4) 우사, 5) 운사 등이다. 상제는 최고신으로 풍백, 우사, 운사 등을 거느리고, 인간사를 주관하게 된다. 단군신화의 천신(天神)과 관련하여 갑골문의 천신(天神)을 살펴보면, 상제(上帝), 일(日), 동모(東母), 서모(西母), 운(雲), 풍(風), 우(雨), 설(雪) 등이다. 이를 통해 보면, 단군신화에 등장하는 천신(天神)과 갑골문에 등장하는 천신(天神)이 서로 일치하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 물론 갑골문의 천신(天神) 중 단군신화와 일치하는 上帝, 雲, 風, 雨등을 제외하고, 日, 東母, 西母, 雪등의 천신(天神)도 나타나고 있다는 차이점은 있지만, 이것은 갑골문의 천신(天神)이 보다 다양함을 나타내주는 지표일 뿐, 단군신화와 갑골문의 천신(天神)이 일치하고 있다는 사실에 영향을 주지는 않는다. 그리고 상나라를 이은 주나라의 종교적 문헌인 『주역(周易)』에서도 단군신화의 천신과 유사한 내용이 등장 하고 있음을 확인했다. 그리고 갑골 복사의 천신, 『주역(周易)』?점사의 천신, 단군신화의 천신 사상은 엘리아데의 종교유형론을 통해 보다 보편적인 종교현상으로 이해할 수 있으며, 따라서 고조선의 문화는 중국의 문화와 서로 교류하면서 대등하게 발전하였음을 추론할 수 있다.

This paper examines the relationships between Dangun Myth’s Thoughts of the Heavenly gods and Oracle bond script’s and the Book of Change’s. In the history of east-asia, the periods of Dangun myth and Oracle bond script overlap each other. And the regions of Dangun myth and Oracle bond script are also not far away. So we can assume that two cultures are closely connected with each other. According to this assumption, I review Dangun myth’s thoughts of Heavenly Gods and Oracle bond script. From this review, I find out similarities between these two cultures. Dangun myth’s Heavenly gods are Hwanin(桓因), Hwanung(桓雄), the god of wind(風伯), the god of rain(雨師), the god of cloud(雲師). And Oracle bond script’s Heavenly gods are Almighty god(上帝), Sun(日), Mother of the East(東母), Mother of the West(西母), Cloud(雲), Wind(風), Rain(雨), Snow(雪). Although Sun(日), Mother of the East(東母), Mother of the West(西母) are not appeared in Dangun myth, but the other heavenly gods match up. Heavenly gods of Dangun myth and the Book of change are also similar in the thought of Almighty God. These similarities between Dangun Myth and Oracle bond script and the Book of Change are recognized in Mircea Eliade’s Relgious patterns. Thus it is reasonable to assume that the religious thoughts of Gochosun(古朝鮮) and Ancient china developed coordinately by cultural exchange.
