국어 음소 표기의 스펙트럼 비교 분석

Comparative Analysis of the Korean Language Phoneme Spectrum

연구는 국어 자료를 전산화하고, 통계적으로 처리하여 보다 선명하게 수치화하여 제시한 뒤에, 스펙트럼 분석이라는 새로운 방법을 발안하여 그 특성을 분석하는 것에 목적이 있었다. 그 시도로서 중세국어 자료(<구급간이방>)과 현대국어 자료(<고등국어>)를 분석 대상으로 하였다. 이때 수치를 보여주는 방법으로 화학이나 물리학에서 쓰이는 ‘스펙트럼 분석’이라는 용어를 사용하여, 각각의 음소의 특성을 고찰한 후, 이들을 비교하여 해당 국어 자료의 통시적 특성을 비교 분석하고자 하였다. 그간의 국어사 연구에서 단순한 수치나, 표 등의 비교로 나타내던 방법에서 한눈에 파악하거나, 희소 수치를 확연히 구분할 수 있도록 기본형과 로그형을 이용하여 스펙트럼화한 것이다.

This study aims to computerize materials of Korean language history, after processing statistically as well as digitalizing more sharply, and analyzing the traits. Furthermore, it investigates the traits of Korean language diachronically through comparison with the modern Korean. In an attempt to do this, it is analyzed the material of the Middle Korean, <Gugeupganyibang> and the material of the Modern Korean, <Highschool Korean textbooks in the period of the 7th curriculum>. By way of showing the figures, it uses the term, ‘spectrum analysis’ which is from chemistry and physics. After considering each phonemic feature, it compares and analyzes the diachronical traits of Korean language.
