음독 입겿[口訣] 명령형의 통시적 고찰

The diachronic study of the imperative in Eumdok Ipkyeoch[Gugyeo]

이 글은 음독 입겿 자료에 나타나는 명령형을 통시적으로 고찰하기 위해 이두, 향가, 그리고 석독 입겿 자료와 15세기 이후 한글 입겿 자료의 명령형 체계를 비교 분석한 것이다. 이두 자료에 나타나는 명령형에는 ‘-齊’와 ‘-良如’가 있으며, 향가 자료에 나타나는 명령형은 ‘-賜立’, ‘-齊’, ‘-良/耶’가 있다. 그리고 석독 입겿 자료에 가장 많이 나타나는 명령문은 어미 구조체 ‘‘-(고어는 본문 참조)[나셔]’와 ‘-[시셔]’이고, 음독 입겿 명령형의 체계는 ‘-[쇼셔]’와 ‘-[셔]’, 그리고 ‘-/[라]’로 나눌 수 있다. 이 연구를 통해 밝힌 바를 간략히 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이두 자료에 나타나는 명령형에는 ‘-齊’와 ‘-良如’가 있으며, 향찰 자료에 나타나는 명령형은 ‘-賜立’, ‘-齊’, ‘-良/耶’가 있다. 둘째, 석독 구결 자료에 사용된 명령형은 ‘-(고어는 본문 참조)’, ‘-(고어는 본문 참조)’뿐이며, 음독 구결 자료에 사용된 명령형은 ‘-(고어는 본문 참조) /’ (고어는 본문 참조) ‘-(고어는 본문 참조)’, ‘-(고어는 본문 참조)’등이 있다. 셋째, 15세기 이후의 한글 입겿에 나타나는 명령법은 공손법의 등분에 따라 대개 ‘-라체’, ‘-야쎠/어쎠체’ ,‘-쇼셔체’로 정리할 수 있다. 넷째, 음독 구결 명령형을 통시적으로 검토해 본 결과, 15세기 명령법 어미 ‘-야쎠/어쎠’체는 ‘-셔’체로 부르는 것이 타당하다.

This study aims to analyze the imperative which appeared in Eumdok Ipkyeoch[Gugyeol] diachronically from the Goryeo Dynasty to the Joseon Dynasty. The results of this study are as follows: First, the imperative shown on the material of Idu has ‘-齊’and ‘-良如’, while the imperative shown on Hyangchal material has ‘-賜立’, ‘-齊’, and ‘-良/耶’. Second, the imperative used in the material of Seokdok Ipkyeoch has only ‘-(고어는 본문 참조)’, ‘-(고어는 본문 참조)’, while the imperative used in the material of Eumdok Ipkyeoch has ‘-?/?’ (고어는 본문 참조) ‘-(고어는 본문 참조)’, ‘-?(고어는 본문 참조)’ and so on. Third, the imperative shown on Hangul Ipkyeoch after the 15th century is mostly arranged according to the parts of politenes. Fourth, the result of considering the imperative of Eumdok Ipkyeoch diachronically, is that it is reasonable to be called the constitution of ‘-야쎠/어쎠, the imperative endingin the 15th century, to the constitution of ‘-셔’.
