청소년이 지각한 부모양육태도와 사회적 유능성과의 관계에서 정서조절방략의 매개효과

The Mediated Effects of Emotion Regulation Style in the Relationships between Parenting Attitudes Perceived by Adolescents and Social Competence

본 연구는 청소년이 지각한 부모의 양육태도와 정서조절방략, 사회적 유능성과의 관계를 알아보고, 부모의 양육태도와 사회적 유능성과의 관계에서 정서조절방략의 매개효과를 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 K도 Y시에 소재한 일반계 고등학 교 1, 2학년 학생들을 대상으로 실시한 자기보고식 설문지 581부를 사용하여 상관분석과 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 부모의 긍정적 및 부정적 양육태도는 정서조절방략 중 지지추구 및 능동적 양식과 유의미한 상관을 나타냈으며, 지지추구 및 능동적 양식은 청소년의 사회적 유능성과 유의미한 정적상관을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 부모의 양육태도와 사회적 유능성과의 관계에서 지지추구 양식과 능동적 양식이 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 청소년의 사회적 유능 성은 부모의 양육태도로부터 직접적인 영향을 받기도 하지만, 정서조절방략을 통해 간접적으로 영향을 받기도 한다는 것을 시사한다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 청소년의 사회적 유능성 향상을 위한 방안이 논의되었다.

The purpose of this research was to investigate the relationship between parental rearing attitudes, emotional regulation strategies and social competence perceived by adolescents, and to verify the mediating effects of emotional regulation strategies between parental rearing attitudes and social competence. Multiple regression analysis were conducted on the data collected from 581 first and second-grade students in a general high school in Gyeongsangnamdo. The results as followings; first, positive parenting attitude affects social competence, negative parenting attitude negatively affects social competence. Second, the positive parenting attitude of parents showed a positive effect on the support seeking style and active style of emotion regulation strategies. Third, support seeking style and active style among emotional regulation strategies have a positive effect on social competence of adolescents. Fourth, support seeking style and active style were partially mediated in the relationship between parenting attitude and social competence perceived by adolescents. The results of this research showed that parental rearing attitude is important to enhance the social competence of adolescents, but emotional control strategies are also important, and the support and intervention of emotional adjustment programs for adolescents in the school field will work effectively.
