임상간호사의 간호대학생 통합간호실습에서의 프리셉터 경험:

Preceptors Experiences of Clinical Nurse in the Integrated Nursing Practice: Waiting and Going Together with Burden to Take on Preceptee

본 연구는 임상간호사의 간호대학생 통합간호실습에서의 프리셉터 경험을 탐색하기 위하여 실시하였다. 간호대학생을 대상으로 실시하는 통합간호실습에 프리셉터로 참여한 경험이 있는 프리셉터 14명에게 포커스 그룹 면담을 실시하여 자료를 수 집하였고, 자료수집 기간은 2016년 12월 6일부터 2017년 1월 29일까지였다. 근거이론으로 자료를 분석하였고, 핵심범주는 ‘프리셉티를 떠안고 기다려주며 함께 가기’로 나타났다. 핵심범주를 분석하는 과정에서 통합간호실습에서 단계적 프리셉터 교육 과정은 ‘학생 프리셉티 파악하기’, ‘데리고 다니면서 하나하나 가르치기’, ‘해보라고하고 뒤에서 살펴보기’, ‘던져두고 스스로 찾게 하기’, ‘믿고 맡기기’과정을 거치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 임상간호사의 간호대학생 프리셉터십 유형으로 교육지향형, 중립형, 업무지향형 프리셉터십이 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 프리셉터의 부담을 줄이고, 격려할 수 있는 있는 효과적인 프리셉터십 프로그램을 개발하기 위해서는 임상기관, 임상간호사, 교수들의 협력이 필요하다는 것을 제시한다.

This study was conducted to identify experiences of nurse preceptor to take on the role of preceptor for nursing students during their final clinical practicum. Data were collected by interviewing focus groups with 14 nurse preceptors who underwent preceptorship program for nursing students from December 6, 2016 to January 26, 2017. The method used to analyze the data was the grounded theory. The core category in experiences of nurse preceptors to train nursing students was identified as ‘waiting and going together with burden to take on preceptee’. In the analysis of the core category, stepwise preceptor training course in integrated nursing practice revealed to go though the process identifying preceptee students , teaching one by one with precptee , practice and observation , finding oneself , and let alone with trust . Types of preceptorship program were emerged such as ‘education-focused preceptorship’, ‘neutral preceptorship’ ‘nursing task-focused preceptorship’. These findings will suggest that collaboration among clinical institution, nurse preceptor and faculty needs to develop an effective preceptorship program that can reduce burden and encourage nurse preceptor.
