예비유아교사의 정서지능과 분노표현양식이 대인관계문제에 미치는 영향

Effect of Pre-service Early Childhood Teachers’ Emotional Intelligence and Anger Expression Style on Their Interpersonal Problems

본 연구의 목적은 예비유아교사가 인식한 정서지능과 분노표현양식이 예비유아교사의 대인관계문제에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이며, 이를 통해 예비유아교사의 대인관계능력을 증진하기 위한 교사양성 교육과정의 기초자료를 제공하는 것이다. 이를 위해 P시에 소재한 대학의 유아교육과에 재학 중인 예비유아교사 406명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 수집된 자료의 분석을 위해 Pearson의 적률상관계수와 단계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 예비유아교사는 정서지능을 보통이상으로 인식하고 있었고, 분노표현양식은 분노조절과 분노억제 방법을 많이 사용하고 있었으며, 대인관계문제는 보통수준 이하로 대체로 낮게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 정서지능과 분노표현양식 중 분노조절은 대인관계 문제와 유의한 부적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 분노표현양식 중 분노표출, 분노억제는 대인관계문제와 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 예비유아교사의 대인관계문제 전체에 대해 분노표현양식 중 분노억제가 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 그 다음으로 정서지능이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 예비유아교사의 분노억제는 대인관계문제의 모든 하위요인에도 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study were to recognize how pre-service early childhood teachers’ emotional intelligence and anger expression style affect their interpersonal relations and finally to provide reference data for developing teacher training program which can help enhance their interpersonal relation. The survey was conducted as part of this study targeted those studying in early childhood education department of 2, 3 and 4-year-course colleges based in Pusan and the number of respondents was 406. The result of this study were as follows; First, it appeared that the respondents recognized their emotional intelligence to be above the average and interpersonal problems to be less than normal level in general. The respondents appeared to use more anger-control and anger-in expression styles. Second, emotional intelligence and anger-control appeared to have a negative correlation with interpersonal problems, whereas anger-out and anger-in expression styles were found to have a positive correlation with interpersonal problems. Lastly, pre-service early childhood teachers’ interpersonal problems appeared to be most affected by anger-in of anger expression styles and the second most influential factor was found to be emotional intelligence. Especially, it was learned that anger-in greatly affects all sub-factors of interpersonal problems.
