고주파 전기수술기를 이용한 결막 림프관확장증 제거술의 효용성

The Effects of Surgery for Conjunctival Lymphangiectasia Using a High-frequency Radio Wave Electrosurgical Unit

Purpose: To evaluate the effects of surgery for conjunctival lymphangiectasia using a high-frequency radio wave electrosurgical unit. Methods: A retrospective chart review of 27 eyes of 27 patients who received surgery for conjunctival lymphangiectasia using a high-frequency radio wave electrosurgical unit (Ellman Surgitron ⓡ,, Ellman International, Inc., Hewlett, NY, USA) from January 2013 to September 2017 was performed. Results: A total of 25 of 27 cases (92.6%) were treated successfully, of which 2 (7.4%) were recurrent cases. Reoperation using the same method was performed in one of the recurrent cases and the patient was successfully cured. Intraoperative or post-operative complication was not noted. Conclusions: Surgery for conjunctival lymphangiectasia using a high-frequency radio wave electrosurgical device is a simple, cheap, safe, and effective procedure. ⓡ

목적: 고주파 전기수술기를 이용한 결막 림프관확장증 수술의 효과 및 유용성을 알아보았다. 대상과 방법: 2013년 1월부터 2017년 9월까지 세브란스병원에서 고주파 전기수술기(Ellman surgitron ⓡ, Ellman International, Inc., Hewlett, NY, USA)를 이용하여 결막 림프관확장증을 수술적으로 제거한 환자들의 의무기록을 후향적으로 분석하였다. 수술 후 3개월 이내 재발 여부를 확인하였으며, 수술의 성공률과 재발률, 합병증 발생 여부를 알아보았다. 결과: 대상 환자 27안 중 25안(92.6%)이 수술 후 호전되었으며, 2안(7.4%)에서 재발하였는데, 그중 1안은 같은 방법으로 재수술 후 호전되었다. 수술 중, 수술 후 합병증은 발생하지 않았다. 결론: 고주파 전기수술기를 이용한 결막 림프관확장증 수술은 결막 림프관확장증을 효과적으로 치료하는 간단하고 안전한 방법이다.
