The purpose of this study was to provide adaptable data for this society where the number of the elderly has been increased in dramatic passion. This study was done based on a theory that decline of skill related fitness with physiological deterioration is a process of senility. For rehabilitation of elderly persons’ fitness and improvement of their quality life span, an senility inhibitive exercise program based on national and foreign research results on skill and fitness improvement was designed. Participants were 21 elderly person more than 65 years old in the area of Kyounggi. The senility inhibitive exercise program constructed with stretching exercise (for 10 minute warm up and 10 minute cool down), 2 types of aerobic exercise (walking on a treadmill, riding a stationary bike), strength exercises (stimulating 12 large muscle groups). The duration was for 12 weeks and frequency was 3 times per week Intensity was 40%-60% of VO2 Max. for the aerobic exercise and 70% of 1RM for the strength exercise. The assessment was done before the program start, at 6th week, and 12th week. Sub-factors of skill related fitness-agility, balance, reaction time, aerobic endurance were assessed. The obtained data was analyzed by SPSS/PC+. The result of the analysis indicated that sub-factors of skill related fitness were improved. Therefore, for the improvement of quality life span and rehabilitation for the elderly, continuous development and popularization of structured and scientific senility inhibitive exercise program must be implemented. General welfare centers and/or centers for elderly, however, do not have suitable facilities and prepared exercise instructors. These made implication of good program difficult. To reduce this toughness, development of simple exercise programs for a room or an office is needed. For delivery of this service, pedagogical systems are needed. For all of the above, there need to be administrational supports, marketing plan, educational activities, and leadership training. Additionally, implication of those are the most important necessity.
