As a result of analyzing the satisfaction of residents of public rental housing in Seoul, the housing cost reduction group was satisfied with the life after moving in as the elderly who lived in Seoul for a long time, however the economic burden of deposits and rents is not large. In these cases, the environmental factors such as the housing environment, the internal structure of the housing, the care of the elderly and the disabled are more correlated with satisfaction than the economic factors. Next, the housing cost increasing group was also satisfied with the elderly living in Seoul, however the economic burden of deposits and rents was not large either. However, there was a high correlation with lack of living expenses. This seems to be due to the lack of living expenses due to the increase in housing costs. In addition, some environmental variables such as residential environment and house internal structure of public rental housing have a higher correlation with satisfaction. Therefore, these areas should be considered more carefully in the future construction and planning of public rental housing. Thus, the common variable between the housing cost reduction group and the increasing group was the residential environment . Therefore, the housing welfare policy is needed that it is not only the housing environment but also the satisfaction the economical part result from the affordable housing cost.
