The contracts for International sales of goods used in international transactions are referred to as international trade contracts. The forms of international trade contracts include the principle form (classic form and modern form), the box form, the attachment form, the letter form and the ICC model sales contract. The parties to the contract will choose one of these various forms of contracts to enter into an international contract of sale. Regardless of the form of international trade contract, the contract contains basic items such as the letterhead, title of contract, date of contract, contract number, details of the parties. In addition to this, the main text of the contract is included in the text of the front side of the international trade contract after the parties have agreed on the main terms of the international trade contract. In the type clauses appearing on the front of the sales contract, you can actually look at the contents of the sales contract and the terms and conditions which include the contract number, contract date, commodity name and quality, quantity, unit price, amount, Incoterms, port of shipment, port of destination. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to reduce disputes of the international trade contracts by reviewing and providing practical remarks on the typing provisions provided in the surface clauses of international sales contracts.
