초중고등학교 CPTED 개선과 학교폭력감소 영향 연구

A Study on the Effects of CPTED Improvement and School Violence Reduction in K-12 Schools: Focused on the CPTED Pilot School Project of K-12 Schools in GyeongGi Province

교육부에서는 셉테드 시범 학교 사업을 지속적으로 추진하고 있다. CPTED 시범학교 사업이 어떠한 성과를 내고 있는지 측정하기 위해 셉테드 환경개선과 학교폭력의 상관관계를 연구하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 2013년 CPTED 시범학교사업이 수행된 경기도 지역 11개 학교와 인근 지역학교의 학교폭력실태조사를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 CPTED를 통한 환경개선과 학교 내의 폭력의 연관관계가 어느 정도 형성되고 있음을 찾을 수 있었으며 특히 갈취, 협박 등 의도적 폭력의 경우 감소의 폭이 큰 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 CPTED 시범사업의 추진 요소들이 학교의 급간의 특성을 보이고 있음을 발견할 수 있었으며 이는 학교 급별 주요한 위험요소가 무엇인지를 인지하고 이를 반영하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 추가적인 CPTED 환경개선사업의 정책에 반영되어 정책의 효과를 높이도록 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

The Ministry of Education is continuing to work on the CPTED Model School project. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the improvement of the environment and the school violence in order to measure the performance of the project. For this purpose, this study analyzed the numbers of school violence in 11 schools in Gyeonggi province and nearby schools where the CPTED pilot school project was carried out in 2013. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the improvement of the environment through the CPTED and the violence in the school was formed to some degree. Especially, intentional violence such as extortion and intimidation has been a significant declined. Also, it was found that the driving factors of the CPTED pilot project showed the characteristics of the school class, which was recognized as reflecting the major risk factors of the school class. The result of this study can be utilized to enhance the effectiveness of the policy by being reflected in the policy of the additional CPTED environment improvement project.
