There were many factors that contributed Admiral Yi s winning all the naval battles. And one of them, a highly efficient reward system made a great role in his victories. He was never defeated. The battles ended in favor of Admiral Yi s side. It was natural that he should win the victory, since there were his prominent strategy and leadership. A pertinent operation of reward system contributed greatly to the victory of the battle. In this research, it observed how Admiral Yi operated the reward system to motivate the men under his command, and the way it affected the morale of his men and how the victory could be realized. The basic concept of reward system of Yi contains two major considerations. The first one is systematic reward approach to reporting the achievements of his men to the royal court for receiving prizes and the second one is exercising his rights normally that embraces encouragement, acknowledgment to increase or maintain satisfaction. This writing is about the systematic reward.
