‘유교적 부부관계’에 대한 재조명과 도덕교육적 활용 방안:

Study on the Reillumination of ‘Confucian Marital Relationship’ and Its Methods for Moral Educational Utilization: Focus on the Life and Ethics subject

본 연구의 목적은 유교적 부부관계에서 나타나는 여성관[婦]을 살펴보고, 이를 통해 유교적 부부관계를 도덕교육적으로 어떻게 활용할 수 있는지 고찰하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 먼저 유교적 부부관계에 대한 ‘부정적인 인식’과 ‘재조명을 위한 노력’에 대해 논의하였다. 전자에 따르면, 아내의 위상은 대단히 한정적이며, 이런 한정적인 위상도 시집으로 대변되는 가족 안에서야 인정받을 수 있었다(제Ⅱ장). 하지만 후자에 따르면, 유교의 본질이라는 측면에서 아내의 위상은 결코 남편보다 낮지 않았다. 이는 남편과 아내가 각자 해야 할 도리가 있으며, 이 도리는 쌍방 간에 요청된다는 것이다(제Ⅲ장). 이상과 같은 전제 아래, 본 연구에서는 유교적 부부관계의 도덕교육적 활용 방안에 대해 고찰하였다. 고등학교 생활과 윤리 교과서 총5종에수록된 부부관계 관련 내용들을 분석하고, ‘유교적 부부관계’를 활용한다면 교과서 기술의 방향을 어떻게 정할 수 있는지, 교수학습방법에는 어떤 것이 있는지 포괄적으로 제시하였다(제Ⅳ장).

This research aimed at investigating the womanhood view in Confucian marital relationship and considering moral educational utilization of Confucian marital relationship. Firstly, this research discussed about the ‘negative awareness’ and the ‘efforts to reilluminate’ of Confucian marital relationship. According to the former, wife’s status was very limitative, even such limitative status was acknowledged within the husband’s family. However, according to the latter, wife’s status was never lower than husband’s status from the aspect of Confucian essence. This implies, each husband and wife has their own duty, and this duty is mutually requested. Based on the above premise, this research considered the moral educational utilization methods of Confucian marital relationship. Also, this research analyzed the contents related to the marital relationship included in 5 textbooks of high school Life and Ethics, and comprehensively suggested the direction of textbook description and the relevant teaching⋅learning methods if the ‘Confucian marital relationship’ is utilized.
