A study on modern costume and clothing life education

Modern costume is conception of constant change to understand usual costume and has symbolic characteristics, decorative characteristics and vital form characteristics. Individuals do not live in isolation but in societal groups. The moral and ethical values of these groups, their norms and expectations, levels of technological development, aesthetic tastes and judgments, and economic systems blend into a composite that overtly, subtly, or invisibly directs a set of standards governing dress. We see that clothing is a symbol of crucial importance to the individual. As a nonverbal language it communicates to others an impression of social status, occupation, role, self-confidence, intelligence, conformity, individuality, and other personality characteristics. In most cases clothing behavior is influenced by the very same forces-social, psychological, and economic-that affect other aspects of human activity. An understanding of the anatomical structure of the human body and its related movements is essential to the creation of functionally designed clothing that is comfortable, utilitarian, convenient, and attractive. Clothing also can be seen as human creations that capture and reflect the whole spirit of an art movement resulting from a particular set of social conditions. Clothing life education should be come life education.
