The Development of the Career Development Competencies Scale for College Students

본 연구의 목적은 대학생을 위한 진로개발역량 척도를 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 관련 선행연구 고찰과 대학생을 대상으로 한 심층면접, 그리고 대학생, 직장인, 진로 전문가들을 대상 한 설문 결과를 종합하여 본 연구의 취지에 맞는 진로개발역 량의 잠정적인 구성요인과 예비문항을 추출한 후 전문가의 내용타당도 검증을 걸쳐 11개 요인, 96개 문항의 예비문항을 개발하였다. 예비문항으로 2017년 9월부터 10월 까지 252명의 대학생을 대상으로 예비검사를 실시하였으며 그 자료를 바탕으로 문항분석과 탐색적 요인분석 과정을 통해 54개 본 검사문항을 선정하였다. 예비검사에서 도출된 문항으로 2017년 11월부터 12월까지 대학생 853명을 대상으로 본 검사를 실시하고 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 주축요인분석과 프로멕스 방법으로 탐색적 요인 분석을 실시하여 9요인 37문항을 도출하였는데, 9개 요인은 직무능력, 자기관리능력, 창의성, 진로탄력성, 글로벌능력, 주도성, 대인관계능력, 계획된 우연기술, 문제해결 능력이다. 9요인 모형의 적합성을 검증하기 위해 실시한 확인적 요인분석에서 모든 적합도 지수가 적합한 수준을 만족시켰으며, 공인타당도도 확인되었다. 이로써 본연구에서 개발한 척도가 대학생의 진로개발역량을 측정하는데 적합한 도구로 판단 하였다.

The purpose of this study is to develop a tool for evaluating college career development competency. For this purpose, the potential components and preliminary questions are extracted according to the purpose of this study by integrating survey of related research, in-depth interview for college students, and survey results of college students, workers, and career experts. The results of this study were as follows: The preliminary questionnaire was composed of 11 factors and 96 items. The initial test was conducted on 252 college students. Based on the data, 54 items were selected through item analysis and exploratory factor analysis. To verify whether the items derived from the initial test were suitable, the 835 college students were surveyed. The collected data were analyzed by exploratory factor analysis. The factors are job competency, self-management competency, creativity, career resilience, global competence, initiative, interpersonal competency, planned happenstance skills, problem-solving competency. For the goodness of fit for the 9-factor model, the confirmatory factor analysis was conducted. All fit indexes met the appropriate level. To verify the concurrent validity, the correlation between the instrument and the career adaptability scale was examined. As a result, it was confirmed that the scale developed in this study is a suitable tool for measuring career development competencies of college students. The significance and limitations of this study are discussed based on the above results.
