유아교사의 배움공동체 기반 Action Learning을 활용한 STEAM 교육 프로그램 개발

Development of STEAM Teacher Education Program for Early Childhood Teachers with Action Learning Based on Learning Community

본 연구의 목적은 유아교사를 대상으로 하는 STEAM 교육에 대한 교사교육 프로 그램을 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 STEAM 관련 문헌고찰, 전문가 대상의 델파이 연구, 유아교사 대상의 인식 및 요구조사를 거쳐 프로그램 개발의 준거를 도출하였 다. 이를 근거로 프로그램 시안을 개발하여 전문가 검토와 현장적용과정을 통해 수정․보완하여 최종 13회기로 구성된 프로그램을 개발하였다. 개발된 프로그램의 목표는 유아 STEAM 교육에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 STEAM 교육에 대한 효능감과 수업역량을 증진시키는 것이고 STEAM 교육에서 유아교사에게 필요한 역할과 역량을 근거로 STEAM 교육 이해, STEAM 관련 교과 지식, STEAM 교육을 위한 수업 이해, STEAM 교육을 위한 수업 실행, STEAM 교육 평가 영역으로 교육내용을 구성 하였다. 교육방법은 배움공동체의 수업협의 형태와 Action Learning의 주기를 과제의 형태를 중심으로 2회로 나누어 실시하고, 차시별 운영은 ice breaking, 과제 수행을 위한 핵심수행 활동, 내용정리 및 성찰, 차시예고로 진행되었다.

The purpose of this study is to develop in-service teacher education program for STEAM for early childhood teachers. For this purpose, the criteria of program development were derived through a review of literature on STEAM, delphi research by experts, and recognition and needs of the early childhood teachers about STEAM . Based on this, program draft was developed. The final program consisteing of 13 sessions was developed after revised and supplemented program draft through professional review and field application process. The goal of the final program is to improve the efficacy and teaching capacity of STEAM education based on the understanding of STEAM education. The contents of the program are understanding of STEAM education, content knowledge of the subjects related STEAM, understanding the instruction for STEAM education, teaching practice for STEAM, and evaluation in STEAM education based on the roles and competencies required for early childhood teachers in STEAM education. In this study, two types of teaching methods are proposed for the program: classroom discussion style of learning community and cycle of Action Learning. The each session is divided into ice breaking, core activities for task performance, arrangement of lesson and reflection about lesson, and announcement of next sessions.
