델파이 조사 방법에 의한 초등학교 사회과 지도서 개선 방안 탐색

Exploring The Improvement Plan of The Teachers’ Guides of Elementary Social Studies by Delphi Survey Method

본 연구는 2015 개정 교육과정에 의한 사회과 지도서의 실태를 파악하고 지도서 개선 방안을 마련하기 위해 시도되었다. 총 27명의 사회과 교육 전문가들이 약 2개월 동안 3차에 걸친 델파이 조사에 참여하여 현행 지도서에 대한 평가와 지도서 개선 방안에 대한 의견을 제시하였다. 현행 지도서에 대해 총론, 교과서 안내 등 4개의 영역으로 나누어 설문한 결과, 응답에 참여한 전문가들은 대체로 현행 지도서가 양호한 수준이라 평가했다. 다만, 2015 개정 교육과정에서 강조하고 있는 범교과 주제 학습이나 창의·융합형 교수 방법에 대한 안내가 부족하다는 지적은 향후 지도서 개발시 고려할 요소로 보인다. 개선 방안에 있어서는 비전공 교사를 위해 교과서-지도 안-교수·학습 자료-평가 계획과 문항 등이 일체화되어 제시될 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 학문적 배경 지식의 제공은 논쟁의 여지가 있으나 이해하기 쉽고 교수·학습 지도와 직접 관련되는 범위에서 제공하는 것이 타당하다는 의견이 많았다.

This study is aimed to find out usage of the teachers’ guides(TGs) of social studies based on the 2015 revised curriculum and to propose an improvement plan. 27 experts of social studies participated in the third phase of Delphi survey to present their opinions on the evalution of the current guidance and how to improve the TGs. As a result of the survey divided into 4 areas such as general information and guide about textbook, the experts evaluated that the current TGs was in a good level. But, the lack of guidance on curriculum subject learning and creative & convergent teaching-learning methods emphasized in the 2015 revised curriculum seems to be a factor to be considered in the development of the tutorial. In the improvement plan, textbooks-instruction plan-teaching and learning materials, evaluation plans and items need to be integrated and presented for non-major in social studies teachers. There were a controversial issue on the provision of academic background knowledge. However, there were also many opinions that it is resonable to provide academic background knowledge within a range easy to understand and directly related to teaching and learning in the TGs.
