This study explored how touri sts perceive urban city images and assess those images by using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. We ed Chuncheon as a case city and asked consumers who ever visited the city within 6 months. We divick consumers into 4 groups based on their age difference. We asked participants what types of urban city images they have about Chuncheon and what kinds of ideal concepts they have in mind for the city. In order to explore the consumer s city images and ideal city concepts, we used focus group interview(FGD, KrKwic and Ucinet for our research methodologies. According to the results, total 4 concepts were 따iven from the investigation. The 4 city concepts for Chuncheon are as follows: 1. Green City, 2. Leisure City, 3. Creative City, 4. Romantic City More explanations about those concepts and practical implications are discussed
