An Effect on the Urban Visitation, Competitiveness, and Inhabitant’s Expectation of the Sports Event Attraction Efficacy

The economic efficacy and information on development that the inhabitant who lives in the venue of sports event can enjoy can be used for the important material for sports policy. This paper focused on the study related to the relationship among regional economic efficacy, social overhead capital, urban visitation, competitiveness and inhabitant’s expectational efficacy displayed at the venue of sports event. On the target of the Jeju-do inhabitants, the materials, by using survey method, were collected for this paper. The questionnaires, attained by direct interview, were used by securing effective samples of 305 valid copies. By using of a statistic program SPSS 20.0 and by applying frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, credibility analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and path analysis, this paper leaded to the conclusion as followings. First, social overhead capital had a positive(+) effect on urban revisitation, social culture, and tourism efficacy. Second, regional economic effect had a positive(+) effect on urban revisitation, regional cooperation, social culture, and urban image. Third, urban revisitation had a positive(+) effect on regional cooperation, urban image, and tourism efficacy. Fourth, urban competitiveness had a positive(+) effect on regional cooperation, social culture, urban image, and tourism efficacy.
