CCTV 설치에 대한 유아교육기관 교사들의 인식 및 상호작용 연구

Child Training Institute for CCTV Installation A Study on the Recognition and Interaction of Teachers

최근 들어 언론을 통해 유아교육기관에서 아동학대 및 폭력 사건들이 심심히 않게 발생해 이슈가 되고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 정부에서는 유아교육기관에 CCTV 설치를 의무화 하였다. 이에 본 연구는 유아교육기관에 종사하는 교사들을 대상으로 CCTV 설치에 대한 유아교사들의 인식과 유아와의 상호작용에 대해 살펴보기 위해 유아교사 186명을 대상으로 설문지 응답을 분석하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 유아교사의 인식은 대안적지지 보다 사생활 침해 인식에서 CCTV로 인해 심리적인 영향을 느낀다는 부정적인 인식을 형성하고 있었다. 둘째, CCTV 설치되어 있어 유아와 상호작용 형성에 어려움을 겪고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결과적으로 CCTV 설치로 생활하는 교사들은 사생활 침해 등의 불편함을 느끼기도 하지만, 반대로 긍정적인 활용으로 인하여 도움도 받고 있었다. 본 연구의 기초하여 유아교의 권리보장과 유아교사들의 근무 환경개선을 위한 시사점을 논의하였다.

Recently, child abuse and violence have become an issue due to child abuse and violence in the infant educational institution. To address this problem, the government has mandated the installation of CCTV in infant education institutions. This study conducted and analyzed questionnaire response on 186 infant teachers who are working in early childhood educational institutes to investigate teachers perception on installation of CCTV inside early childhood educational institute and interaction with children. According to the research result, infant teachers were forming negative perception on CCTV installation that CCTV makes psychological effect on invasion of privacy than making alternative support. Secondly, it was identified that infants and teachers were experiencing difficulty in interaction because CCTV was installed. In conclusion, teachers who are working with CCTV felt inconvenience as invasion of privacy, but on the contrary, they were receiving help by positive use. Based on the results, this study discussed implications for guarantee of infants and teachers’ rights and improvement of working environment of infant teachers.
