초등학생의 명제로 표현된 언어에서 상징 분석을 통한 도덕심상(Moral Image) 확인 방안

Ways to Confirm ‘Moral Image’ through Symbolic Analysis in Language Expressed as Proposition by Elementary School Students

본 연구의 목적은 초등학생의 명제로 표현된 언어에서 상징을 분석하여 그 학생의 ‘도덕심상(Moral Image)1)’를 확인하고 그에 합당한 도덕교육을 통해, 보다 도덕적인 행동으로 이어지도록 하는 일련의 과정을, Jung의 원형과 상징의 개념을 중심 으로 구조화하여 실제 도덕교육의 실천사태에 적용하는데 있다. Jung의 원형과 상징은 ‘자기실현의 길’로 이어지는 개성화 과정에서 무의식과 의식의 관련 문제를 조화의 관점에서 해명하는 주요한 개념이다. 개성화 과정의 전 과정을 순차적으로 정리 해보면 의식의 장에 드러난 상징을 통해 무의식의 심층인 원형의 상태를 이해하여 인간 마음의 부조화를 확인할 수 있다. 그렇다면 마음의 부조화 확인 후 도덕교육적 방법들을 통해, 그 마음을 조화의 상태로도 이끌 수도 있다는 결론이 나온다. 본 연 구는 이 같은 생각을 기반으로 하여 초등학생 마음의 ‘도덕심상’을 확인하는 절차를 Jung이 범주화한 원형 중 하나인 ‘모성 원형’과 Gagne등이 주창하는 ‘명제망’의 개념을 중심으로 구조화 하고, 적용의 예를 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the symbol in the language expressed as proposition by elementary school students in order to identify the moral image of the student, and to apply a series of processes, which encourages such image to be led to more moral behavior, to the actual moral education and moral practice by structuralizing the process based on Jung s concept of archetype and symbol. Symbol appears in the field of consciousness in conjunction with the environment by drive in the form of mental energy which archetype motivates. If the reverse direction of the appearance of symbol from unconsciousness to consciousness is traceable, we can grasp the status of harmony or disharmony of the process of individuation leading to archetype and symbol. Based on this idea, this study structuralized the process of confirming the moral image of elementary school students mind with a focus on the concepts of mother archetype and propositional network , one of the archetypes categorized by Jung, and presented examples of its application.
