A Study on the Chewing Ability and Subjective Oral Health and DMFT of over 60 s Adults Contracting in Cardiovascular Disease

In this study, we used the 2015 national health nutrition survey data from the ministry of health and welfare. This study investigated the relation between chewing ability and general characteristics; between chewing ability and cardiovascular diseases and between factors affecting caries and subjective oral health; and between factors affecting caries and DMFT. We concluded the results as follows. First, all items appeared statistically significant except sex (p<0.05). Second, chewing ability according to cardiovascular disease are appeared statistically significant (p<0.05). Third, factors affecting caries and subjective oral health all appeared statistically significant (p<0.05). Finally, factors affecting caries and DMFT all appeared statistically significant except using oral health suppliers (p<0.05).
