Effect of Satisfaction of Life on Oral Health Related Quality of Life of Adults in Some Area

The purpose of this study was to reveal association between satisfaction of life and oral health related quality of life. The satisfaction of life was composed of living environment, job performance, leisure activity, interpersonal relationship and family relationship. We thought these factors affect to the oral health related quality of life. For this study, 283 adults of Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam are participated in this study. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, pearson’s correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression analysis with SPSS 12.0 program. In conclusion, we obtained the next results. First, the average of living environment was 3.33, the job performance was 3.57, the leisure activity was 2.90, the interpersonal relationship was 3.45, the family relationship was 3.47 and the oral health related quality of life was 4.15. Second, the influencing factor in oral health related quality of life were job performance(β=.235), family relationship(β=.141), interpersonal relationship(β=.131), adjusted R2=.157. This study is a help to policymaking basic materials for improvement of the life quality related in the oral health.
