This study aims to explore factors affecting the welfare leave for people with disability. The 8th data of the Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled(PSED), which was collected by the Employment Development Institute of the Korean Employment Agency for the Disabled, was used for this purpose. 1,427 disabled who have been supported by National Basic Livelihood Security program for the past 5 years were selected as study sample. This study shows us that age, education, employment condition, employment service experience, subjective health status, period of support, public transfer income and private transfer income were key factors that affect welfare leave for people with disability. Findings of this study suggests us policy and administrative implications to enhance the chance of welfare leave for the people with disability.
