Requirement Analysis in e-Learning Implementation for Higher Education in Cambodia

Adopting e-Learning into higher education is a new approach for Cambodia. In this paper, we discuss the challenges experienced by the universities in Cambodia in implementation of e-Learning and recommend some possible solutions towards the success. This study presents the findings from a survey of 75 participants who are currently experiencing in using e-Learning at a well-known higher education institution in Cambodia. The data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS. The findings show that e-Learning comes with some challenges that must be taken into account by the higher education institutions in Cambodia before the success can be realized. However, e-Learning is still considered as an alternative tool for enhancing the higher education sector since the benefits and potentials outweigh the challenges. Therefore, some possible solutions are recommended in this paper that the higher education institutions could embrace towards the successfully e-Learning implementation.
