Development and Validation of a Measurement Scale for the Career Education Competency of Elementary School Teachers

초등교사의 진로교육역량 측정도구 개발 및 타당화

The purpose of this study was to develop and validate the career education competency measurement scale of elementary school teachers in order to strengthen career education in elementary school. Through the content validity analysis, the career education competency was identified. Items from the first survey were reviewed and revised to confirm as the first preliminary question item. The first preliminary survey was conducted by sampling 330 elementary school teachers in Seoul. Based on the results, it was modified into 13 competencies in six competency groups through item analysis and 44 items were confirmed through exploratory factor analysis (EFA). Second, this study was conducted to identify the validity of the measurement scale for teachers working in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Incheon elementary schools. In this study, data from 827 people were collected and the validity of the measurement model was assessed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). This verified the reliability and validity of the latent variables and measured variables using AMOS 24.0. Finally, 44 measurement scales were developed and validated for the career education competency of elementary school teacher. In this study, the reliable and valid scale for measurement of career education competency for elementary school teachers were developed.

이 연구는 초등학교의 진로교육강화를 위하여 초등교사가 가지고 있는 진로교육역량을 진단할 수 있는 진로교육역량 측정도구를 개발하고 타당화 하는데 목적을 두었다. 문헌고찰을 통해서 진로 교육역량의 개념을 정의한 후 역량요인을 추출하고 전문가에 의한 내용타당도 확인을 거쳐 예비조사 문항을 개발하였다. 그리고 1차 예비조사와 2차 본조사를 진행하였는데, 내용타당도 분석을 통해 진로교육역량을 구명하고 초기문항을 검토·수정하여 1차 예비조사 문항을 확정하였으며, 예비조사 문항 수정, 보완 절차를 거쳐 본조사 문항을 완성하였다. 1차 예비조사는 서울소재 초등학교에 근무하는 교사 330명을 대상으로 조사한 응답 결과에 대해 문항분석을 통해 6개 역량군 13개 역량으로 수정하고 탐색적 요인분석(EFA)을 거쳐 44문항을 확정하였다. 2차 본조사는 측정도구의 타당도를 검증하기 위하여 서울, 경기, 인천 초등학교에 근무하는 교사 827명을 대상으로 실시하였으며, 응답 결과는 AMOS 24.0을 사용하여 측정모형의 적합도 평가를 위해 확인적 요인분석(CFA)을 실시하였다. 최종적으로 초등교사 진로교육역량을 측정할 수 있는 44 문항의 측정도구를 개발하고 타당화 하였다. 본 연구결과로 개발한 측정도구는 초등교사에 맞게 특성화 된 진로교육역량 검사이다.
