A Study on Developing Material and Utilization Measures of Vocational Handicraft Education in Accordance with New Curriculum

This study was intended to let students learn basic knowledge and skills needed in practical life, let them develop personal aptitud through voluntary work activity, develop creativity, forming scientific skills and living attitude based on aforesaid experience; thus procure manufacturing capacity. Through analysis of curriculum, materials not mentioned in textbook but available locally and easily by pupils were developed, new substitutes and skills being created. The method of research followed the steps: basic investigation on the theoretical foundation, was conducted with teachers in service The contents of research are : (1) Developing materials and manufactured goods ; (2) Deciding the fundamental principles of developing materials, (3) Developing new substitutes based on surveying various products. (4) Making research of handicraft by using materials developed.
