A Study on Effective plan of Practical Course Education in Elementary School

The purpose of this study is point out problems in the fifth curriculum of practical course education in elementary school. In the research, to compared between the fifth curriculum of practical course education and textbook, and a que stionnaire was used composed of an aspect of practical course education in elementary school. The subjects of the inquary were teachers who served in the rural of urban areas of Kyung-sang South Province. Finally, there were 177 questionnaires used in the analysis. Ultimately, this study aim is to create new ways to improve practical course education in elementary school. The results are as follows: 1. It was found that the fifth curriculum of practical course education in elementary school is partly in discord with textbook. 2. In questionnaire analysis, it was found that teachers thinks of study quantity of textbook is too much, and study level is some difficulty in children, and the most difficult problem to do teaching of practical course education is facilities insufficiency. 3. The sixth curriculum of practical course education in elementary school is composed focus on ‘practical activity’. 4. The orientation of textbook development is agreement between the curriculum and textbook, and considered the aspect of policy in program development.
