A Study on Problem of Instructing How to Treat and How to Manufacture in Vocational Training Course of Elementary Schools ; Centered around female teachers in Chonnam Province

Through Questionaries distributed among female teachers, essentials for instructing how to treat and how to manufacture in the course of elementary school, and consciousness structure of female teachers, were sought This research was planned to establish and provide fundamental materials for teachers, reaching the following results: 1. Vocational training course was termed the most closely related subject necessary for home life. That is, the basic technical training was found absolutely necessary on the part of children for their home and socola life in later days; 2. contrary to directives from ministry of Education, actual teaching is invariably being done on theoretical level. A proper space to be alloted fro practice room, and basic tools, must be provided. Paucity of tools was observed in almost all schools; 3. Teachers intent to teach earnestly, found themselves poorly equipped owing to the lack of experiment and experience while they were trained to be teachers; 4. Teachers strongly request that teachers training be carried on practice-centered program, taking fully account of curriculum in elementary school.
