A Study on the Reconstruction of 「Handling of Electric Appliances」 in the Practical Arts Subject

One of the main changes In the Educational Reformation is focused on the student-oriented instructions which cultivate the creative and scientific thinking abilities of students and help students learn the materials with interest. Therefore, under the 6th National curriculum a teacher can reconstruct the learning materials in order to realize this spirit of the Educational Reformation. Because to reconstruct learning materials is not an easy task and needs lots of times and efforts on the teacher, so few teachers can do this task. According to these difficulties, this study set out to reconstruct the unit 「Handling of Electric Appliances」 in Elementary Practical Arts. Researcher reconstructed the unit : 1. to achieve the basic goals of the Elementary Practical Arts and the Unit, 2. to help students learn the materials interestingly, 3. to help teacher use this reconstructed materials easily.
