The purposes of this study were to investigate the teaching method of practical-arts education for the development of creativity. In the section of theoretical review, the definition of creativity would be defined that the creative thinking process to solve the hypothetical problems. And, it would be found that there are two components of creativity in the model: ‘creative thinking skills’ and ‘creative thinking traits’. And, it was found that creativity and practical-arts education were highly related in the view of objectives, contents, and teaching methods of practical-arts education. The desirable teaching methods were proposed that the child centered educational environment and the divergent questions would guide the children to process of creative thinking. And the creative problem solving model and some effective creative thinking methods were also proposed for the development of creativity In practical-arts education.
