Implementation and Application of Web-Based Instruction Materials for Effective Classroom Instruction of ‘Our Life and Electricity-Electronics’ Unit in Practical Arts Subject

The purpose of this paper is to realize web-based instruction materials for effective classroom instruction of the ‘Our Life and ElectricityㆍElectronics’ unit in Practical Arts Subject and apply them to the real situation after designing and developing the web-based instruction materials. The development process of the web-based instruction materials realized in this research was progressed by the four steps of planning, designing, drawing up teachingㆍlearning lesson plans used ICT, realizing web-based instruction materials and applying them to the spot. The research processes are as the following. First, we looked into the structure and teaching contents of the teaching materials for developing web-based instruction materials, and analyzed the subject and the unit. Second, we made out teachingㆍlearning lesson plans used ICT for web-based instruction materials according to periods. Third, we made the web-based instruction materials using the teachingㆍlearning lesson plans used ICT, and made all the teachers do effective learning guidance by making use of the teaching materials. Fourth, we revised and complemented the web-based instruction materials after applying them on the spot and verifying the effect. Accordingly, we developed this web-based instruction materials which teachers can use usefully as teaching materials, when they teach the ‘Our Life and Electricity?Electronics’ unit in Practical Arts Subject at classroom teaching. This web-based instruction materials developed on the basis of the realizing process of this research and the conclusion need continuous compensation with new contents and uploading various materials etc., and we expect this web-based instruction materials to be used widely for the teachingㆍlearning of the ‘Our Life and ElectricityㆍElectronics’ unit in Practical Arts Subject.
