A Study on the Use of Films for the effective Practical Arts Teaching and Learning

This research intends to suggest a teaching material in practical arts by using of the audio-visual media as the learning material. Using film in teaching would be effective for students who are very much familiar with computer and multimedia games. Film has a lot of educational advantages when applied to the practical arts. Through film one can acquire knowledge, value and culture of real life. It could intrigue the learners motivation and acquire a indirect experience. In order to the teaching-learning in practical arts through use of film, this study would be helpful to the different unit of textbook, and suggested current events of film, utilizable content in teaching, and suggested teaching-learning method. This research suggested a teaching material in practical arts through film and it will be needed further study to achieve this goal when apply to the class.
