The purposes of this study were to explore an introduction possibility of mind map software to contents of living technology education at National University of Education, to review theories related to mind map software, and to present the teaching and learning process plan using mind map software. It was proposed that educational contents related to mind map software should be included in contents of living technology education because they have something in common with each other. In other words, they were all related to information communication technology, design technology, and actual life. Function of right and left brain hemisphere, the importance of visual thinking, visualization by mind map, and using method of mind map were investigated as the theoretical background. An example of teaching and learning process plan for introducing the mind map software to living technology education contents was presented for trainee teachers at National University of Education. And, an example of solution to the problem was presented either. It was proposed that a follow up study about the application effect of the teaching and learning process plan should be made in the near future.
