The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of gender equity career education program on career consciousness and gender-role attitudes of elementary school students. For this purpose, two sixth grade classes of W Elementary School in Bucheon City, Gyeonggi Province were selected and each made a experiment group and control group. The gender equity career education program(18 lessons) was applied to experiment group, but conventional lesson was applied to control group. The findings were summarized as follows. First, the experiment group which received classes through the gender equity career education program improved their career consciousness compared to the control group. Second, the experiment group which received classes through the gender equity career education program improved their gender-equity awareness compared to the control group.
