초등실과 공업기술영역 내용의 현장 적용성 향상 방안

Effective Classroom Application of Industrial Technology Area in the Practical Arts Education

It’s time to discuss about Practical Arts textbook to apply new developed curriculum. It was pointed out that among Practical Arts subject, industrial technology area has shown relatively low applicability to classroom. Therefore, it is necessary to give more attention to construct textbook. The purposes of this study were to examine the applicability of industrial technology areas at classroom and to expand its applicability. To implement this study, literature review and in-depth interview were employed. The findings indicated that: (1) the units for industrial technology area were not appropriate to the real-life; (2) the level of content and activity were generally high to teachers and students; (3) the selection of contents was subjected to allocated time, learning environments, and safe activity.
