The purpose of this study was to show the better direction for Practical Arts Education evaluation in the rapidly changing educational society in Korea. The contents of this study was the discussion of the current evaluation methods in Practical Arts Education in Korea and the United States, content analysis of the published articles and dissertations of the Practical Arts Education evaluation, and the results of the survey of elementary teachers’ perceptions to the Practical Arts Education evaluation. The results and the suggestions of this study were as follows: 1. In order to evaluate the creative problem solving skills, applied strategies for process evaluation in multiple directions should be developed. 2. Qualitative evaluation techniques should be used with the traditional quantitative evaluation method in order to measure the entire growth of the students. 3. Various evaluation research should be conducted to make the learning experience become a meaningful improvement for the students.
