The purpose of this study was to figure out what elementary teachers thought about the elementary textbooks and the teachers’ guides of the practical arts education as a reference for developing the elementary practical arts curriculum. This study was also designed to identify the influence of the elementary teachers’ socio-demographic variables on their perceptions about the textbooks and the teachers’ guides of the practical arts education. The result of this study showed that the elementary school teachers were positive about the textbooks and the teachers’ guides. However, the elementary school teachers were relatively negative about the actual activities and the appropriateness of the textbooks and the teachers’ guides. The result of this study also showed that socio-demographic variables of had no significant influence on the perceptions about the textbooks and the teachers’ guides.
